Course Description:

Have you ever wondered if you could spot the onset of mental health symptoms if it were to occur in you, a loved one, patient/client, friend, or a co-worker? One in five individuals in any given year are diagnosed with a mental health challenge.  QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer: 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand Depression, Anxiety, and other common mental health conditions
  • Learn the signs and symptoms of various Mental Health conditions
  • Available resources for help with mental health conditions
  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide
  • Know how to offer hope
  • Know how to get help and save a life

Please note: You must have a working webcam and microphone to participate in this training. You may not participate from a moving vehicle.
