HPCP at Pitt’s first hosting of the Indigenous Cultural Festival!

HIV Prevention and Care Project staff and booth

The University of Pittsburgh hosted its first Indigenous Cultural Festival including a mini powwow at Schenley Plaza on Sept. 21. The HPCP booth was open 10am-4pm. We engaged with over 50 attendees and met many new people from Pitt and the local indigenous community. It was a beautiful sunny day to be outside and having conversations about Pennsylvania’s Integrated Plan and the evolution in prevention and care strategies over the years.
